Informational and communicative potential of memories about the Russian-Ukrainian War (2014-2022)Section: Biographical research under war conditions Abstract: The purpose of the study is to analyze the main arrays of memories about the Russian-Ukrainian War (2014-2022) in the context of information and communication potential, representing a person as a key figure in historical events. The research methodology is based on the application of the content and discourse of analysis (methods of analysis and interpretation of the text), general scientific methods of systematization and classification, the principles of historicism, and objectivity. The scientific novelty of the study consists in considering the communicative and informational potential, thematic orientation, forms of presentation of memories of the modern war; consideration of the activities of the scientific community, public initiative and individuals in the creation, collection of memoir texts and their implementation in the public and scientific space. Conclusions. Memories of the Russian-Ukrainian War (2014-2022) considered through the analysis of public and scientific projects, individual narratives that demonstrate an understanding of their communicative and informational potential in the context of historical and biographical source studies, the formation of a national information space and an important content resource for overcoming social, national, cultural, historical and individual trauma. Under the conditions of DH, memories become available to the general public, working simultaneously as a communication tool (auto communication, interpersonal, intergenerational, family, professional, etc.), social support, and a way to relieve stress from experiencing traumatic events. The necessity of developing the latest methods of searching and storing the memories of contemporaries for further scientific processing with subsequent implementation in the scientific and public space is noted. It is noted that the study of the actions of individual representatives of society, diverse communities (micro-level of history) in times of crisis due to memories is the basis for broader generalizations (macro-level of history).
