Study of D. I. Yavornytsky’s life and creative heritage in the works of S. V. Abrosimova

Abstract: The purpose of the article was to present the strategy, techniques and methods of scientific development of the figure of Academician D. I. Yavornytsky in the works of the famous Ukrainian / Dnipropetrovsk historian Svitlana Viktorivna Abrosimova (1953-2011). Being the head of the manuscripts department of the Historical Museum, in whose funds the manuscript heritage of the outstanding historian was preserved, she was able to become a real leader in the study of the archive of the scientist, his creativity and public activity. The problematic historiographical discourse made it possible to approach the achievement of a twofold goal: to reveal the degree of historiographical processing of the biography of D. I. Yavornytsky and investigate the scientific laboratory of the modern historian and the place of the biohistoriographical component in it. The research methodology is based on the use of methods of problematic historiography in combination with methods of quantitative and formal analysis. This provided an opportunity to reveal the structure, priorities and dynamics of problematization of biohistoriographical studies, their quantitative parameters. The bibliographic method contributed to the determination of the role and place of the outstanding researcher of Zaporozhye in the creative output of S. V. Abrosimova. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that an important step towards the analysis of the historiographic development of the life and activities of D. I. Yavornytsky, which is an indispensable condition for the creation of his intellectual biography, has been made. For the first time, the significance of the organizational efforts and scientific legacy of S. V. Abrosimova was revealed in the approbation of new methodological approaches of biohistoriographic research. Conclusions. Study of the life and activities of D. I. Yavornytsky became the main theme of creative priorities of S. V. Abrosimova. Her main achievements in this field were the monumental archeographic edition of the epistolary heritage and the reprint of the monograph “Zaporozhye in the remains of antiquity and folk traditions”. Around the archaeological project of S. V. Abrosimova uniteda powerful scientific team of representatives of archival, museum and research centers of Ukraine. During the thirty years of implementation of this plan, a fundamental archeographic complex of the study of everyday life, creative and family communications, the inner emotional, ethical and aesthetic world of Academician D. I. Yavornytsky, as well as the historical culture of the region, the history of Ukrainian historical science.
