Virtual biographical laboratory in the system of digital humanities

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to define the role and prospects of the Virtual Biographical Laboratory in the system of digital humanities laboratories, to outlineits place and significance in the context of contemporary humanities. The research methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines methods of analyzing biographical data, digital tools, and practices in the humanities. The article uses methods of comparative analysis, systematization, and generalization of information on the functioning of digital laboratories, including institutional, independent, and interdisciplinary ones. Particular attention is paid to the use of modern technologies to optimize the processes of data collection and analysis. The scientific novelty of the work lies in a comprehensive analysis of the typology of digital humanities laboratories and the justification of the need to introduce innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), cloud services and collaboration platforms. It is shown how the automation of routine intellectual functions, such as structuring biographical data, can significantly increase the efficiency of researchers. The conclusions note that the Virtual Biographical Laboratory performs an important functionas an interactive platform for biographical research, promotes interdisciplinary interaction between researchers in history, literary studies, philosophy, cultural studies, sociology, and other fields. This creates new opportunities for generating knowledge and popularizing it in society. It is proved that the UBL has a significant potential for integration into the educational process and expanding access to biographical data. The introduction of innovative technologies willallow the creation of interactive curricula and research projects, which will help attract young scholars to digital humanities. This, in turn, will contribute to the development of scientific research and ensure the sustainable functioning of the WLL in the future.
