Abstract: Article deals with T.G.Shevchenko historical and archaeological activity in Chernigiv region during the second business trip to the Left-Bank Ukraine (December 1845 − April 1846). Kobzar described Old Russian antiquities in Chernihiv. He did sketches of Sedniv’s barrows.
