Abstract: The article is dedicated to the researching of the history of creating and methods of compiling of "Biobibliographical Dictionary of Outstanding Figures of Chernihiv Region" by Dmytro Panasovytch Bochkov (1887–1982) and to the possibilities of the further use of these materials.
