Abstract: The scientific achievements of O.M. Milyakh the famous Ukrainian scientist in the field of electrodynamics, the corresponding member of the UkSSR Academy of Science within the context of the world electrotechnical science development were studied. The contribution in establishing of scientific direction of transformational machinery in by this scientist was grounded. The organizational activities in the position of the Scientific Secretary of the of of the UkSSR Academy of Sciences and the director in the of the UkSSR Academy of Sciences were revealed.
