Development trends in Polish biography from the late nineteenth to the early twenty-first century.

Abstract: Polish biography develops in two main directions: as independent monographic study and as the writing of biographies, namely the brief factual-chronicle forms printed in various encyclopedias, dictionaries, collections of biographies, among which undoubtedly the most important significance has "Polish Biographical Dictionary" published in 1935.
